1. An enjoyable holiday with your family

For me, the perfect holiday would be one spent with my parents, because I now live in a different city and we don't get to see each other very often. I really miss spending time with them, and that's why whenever we get the chance, we go on family holidays.

For us, the perfect holiday would be a relaxing beach holiday. Even though the summer tends to be the busiest tourist season, we would most probably go to a beach resort to enjoy the beautiful summer weather. We much prefer hot weather, because my parents live in a city in the north part of China where the weather is much colder than most regions in the country.

As for where we would go, I don't think we would have any specific destination in mind, because for us the most important part of going on holiday is spending time together. We could travel by car or plane, and we could go anywhere we liked. We are like those types of travellers who prefer to plan their route and make any necessary changes on the go.

We definitely like trying different activities as well as food. So, if we decided to go to a beach resort, we would choose a place with plenty of family entertainment on offer and we would do some water sports, like scuba diving, for example.

2. Describe your travel destination

My family went to Kuwait last summer to spend a vacation. It was the most memorable experience for me and the other family members. During the visit, we went to a beach named Messilah and enjoyed a lot. In fact, that was the best holiday I ever have had. This is a great cue card task for me and I would like to thank you for the opportunity to let me talk about it.

Kuwait is a beautiful country but I did not have the chance to visit the entire land. I stayed in a star-rated hotel near the Messilah beach. Messilah is one of the biggest and enriched beaches of the country. It is filled with white sands and the watercolour is deep blue. This is a perfect place to be with family and children. The other beaches are not so much clean as it is. Besides, there is a swimming pool as well which attracts the swimmers who are unable to swim on the beach. The most significant thing about the beach is that this is costlier than the other beaches though the enjoyment is worth the costs.

During this visit to Kuwait, I mostly spent my time near the beach. In fact, my parents went to visit the city and had their necessary shopping. But I preferred to take part in water sports and took some boat trips on the sea as well. I tried to dive under the sea but later discarded the idea as I was not a good swimmer.

It was the best holiday for me as I did not have seen sea beaches before. My parents also allowed me to move alone and enjoy myself. The natural views of the beach were outstanding and I loved the seafood. So, I think it was the best holiday so far for me.

3. An enjoyable holiday with your family last summer

Last summer, I had the best holiday of my life. I went to Tenerife in Spain with my family and had the biggest bash of my life. We stayed for one week and had lots of fun, especially the in the night parties. I will remember these days for a long. Moreover, the natural views were charming indeed. Considering everything, this was the best holiday I have ever spent out of my country. I feel lucky for that.

Tenerife is the largest of the Canary Islands in Spain. There are some other special locations available in the island-like Mt. Teide. This is also the tallest peak in the country. The exotic beaches were the other attractive places that attract the visitors most. The high-end restaurants and their special dishes also play an important role to fall in love with the place.

I did lots of things there. Spending an entire night on the beach was a special experience to me. I had the desire to participate in the Carnaval de Santa Cruz but missed that as the event was set to be held at a later date. Spending a night under the starry sky and listening to the sea waves thrilled me to the fullest extent. Walking through the boulevards, visiting the National Park, bating on the sea – all of them had some great impacts on me.

This was the best holiday experience as I took part in activities which were new to me. In fact, I did not have an idea that I would stay beside the sea beach and pass an entire night. I took seafood for the first time too and they tasted delicious. Visiting the surrounding towns gave me some amazing experiences. Therefore, based on everything, I consider this was the best holiday.
