I. OBJECTIVES: By the end of this lesson, Ss will be able to:

1. Knowledge

- listen for main ideas and specific information in a talk about black carbon and global temperature

- Memorise vocabulary to talk about climate change.

2. Competences

- Develop listening skills: listening for the main idea and listening for specific details.

- Be collaborative and supportive in pair work and teamwork.

- Develop presentation skills.

3. Personal qualities

- Develop self-study skills;

- Actively join in class activities.

4. Digital Competences (Năng lực số)
Students are able to:

· 1.1NC1a: Identify information needs; find data, information, and content in a digital environment (through watching the quiz slides and listening to the digital recording).

· 1.2NC1b: Analyze, compare, and evaluate the reliability and validity of data sources, information, and digital content (when checking answers against the audio recording).

· 2.1NC1a: Interact through various digital technologies and understand appropriate communication means (participating in the digital quiz).
