LESSON 7: LOOKING BACK + PROJECT

I. AIMS:

1. Knowledge

Students will be able to:

- Revise the vocabulary related to the topic

- Revise form and use of comparative adjectives.

- Practise asking for and giving direction to the places on their project.

1.1. Vocabulary:

Review the vocabulary

1.2. Grammar:

- Use the comparative adjectives.

- Structure: “There is/ There are”.

2. Competences:

-Team work and individual work, pair work, cooperative learning and working.

* Digital competence:

- 1.1TC1.b: + Search for location image information on the Internet.

- 2.2TC1.a : + Use devices (phone/computer) to design posters/slides.

+ Use digital applications (Canva/PowerPoint/Google Slides) to present projects.

3. Quality

- Love the community and hometown.

- Be aware of protecting the residential environment.

II. TEACHING AIDS

1. Students:

- Textbooks, notebooks.

- Group phones/laptops.

- Some pictures of the neighborhood where you live (taken yourself or found online).

2. Teachers:

-Textbooks ,lesson plan, computer, projector

- Digital study sheets.

-Images of locations in the neighborhood.

-Suggested digital software for students: Canva, Google Slides, PowerPoint

III. TEACHING PROCEDURES

1.Class organization/ Warm up:

+ Greeting

- Teacher asks students some questions about them and class.

Activity: “Guess the place” – guess the place

-Teacher shows some pictures of places in the neighborhood.
